SPORTS COACH
Fixed term until July 2020, part-time (approximately 12-16 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours to be discussed at interview) term time only starting on 3rd September 2019.
Salary - VTG10 SP30-SP33 £27,358 – £29,909 per annum, pro rata (actual salary £7,589 - £8,296 per annum for 12 hours per week and £10,119 - £11,062 per annum for 16 hours per week) + Health Cash Plan and Benefit package.
Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

Applications are invited from high quality candidates to join an exciting and committed team at Bannerman Road Community Academy. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to lead PE lessons across a variety of key stages, lead extracurricular sports sessions and enrichment clubs, and helping to organise a variety of sporting events in the school.
Candidates for this post will have been:
• Educated to a high standard with a minimum GCSE grade C in English and mathematics (or equivalent qualifications).
• NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline.
• First Aid qualification or willingness to gain certificate
• Experience of working in a school or similar learning environment.
• Knowledge of Child Protection and Health & Safety
• Understanding of PE delivery in schools
• Relevant knowledge & experience of sports development, including club and coach development
