EARLY YEARS TEACHING ASSISTANT

Salary: VTG7 Scale Point 18 (£18,070 per annum) pro rata + Health Cash Plan and Benefits Package.


Fixed term until 21/12/18 (may be extended), 27 hours per week over 4 days, term time only to start as soon as possible.

Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A desire to take an active part in ensuring all students achieve more than they ever thought possible.
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of the curriculum
  • A GCSE grade of C or higher in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
  • A relevant level 3 qualification.
  • Experience of using Makaton.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with students and establish positive behaviour for learning.
